The Irish International Immigrant Center is very grateful to everyone who supported our recent festival in South Yarmouth on the Cape.  It was a great, fun day out for over 200 families and friends who enjoyed the best cuisine the Cape has to offer. Guests sampled food from a number of local restaurants, and the wonderful entertainment from world renowned accordion player Fintan Stanley (  Children (and a some of the adults) enjoyed the face-painting and other kid activities.

A number of people took advantage of the IIIC’s free immigration and citizenship workshop where experienced legal staff and volunteers offered their expert advice.

Ann Marie Cugno, IIIC outreach coordinator, helped plan the event and was delighted with the turnout.  Ann Marie said “The Cape Cod business community is so supportive, the event was packed. We want to especially thank Jack Hynes of the Cape Cod Irish Village for doing such a great job for us every year. We also thank everyone who donated the raffle prizes and silent auction items.”

Barbara Murphy made a large donation on behalf of the Cape Cod Irish American in recognition of all of the kindness shown by Jack Hynes, owner of the Cape Cod Irish Village, every year in hosting the event.

A great time was had by all. Thanks to everyone who supported the event.  The date has been set as for next year’s event – be sure to mark your calender and make it weekend of it.
