Kim Jorgensen recently joined the IIIC as the Program Administrator in the Learning Exchange Programs Department. The majority of her work is focused on supporting the J1 Irish Work and Travel visa program, to help Irish students and recent graduates the opportunity to work in the United States for up to 12 months.

As a Romance Languages major at the University of Georgia, Kim had the opportunity to spend a semester studying in Lyon, France. After this time abroad, Kim realized the value of an international experience and the mutual understanding it can bring for people of different cultures, backgrounds, languages, and ways of life. This interest followed her to Northeastern University, from where she graduated last spring with a Master’s in political science, concentrating in international relations.

Kim is excited to take on a role where she can use her educational background and study abroad experience to help create an enriching international experience for others.  Welcome aboard Kim!
