The work of the great Irish author, James Joyce, is celebrated each year around the world on June 16th, often known as Bloomsday after Leopold Bloom, the leading character of Joyce’s great novel, Ulysses, which is set in Dublin on June 16th, 1904.  This year the IIIC hosted the Here Comes Everybody Players, a Boston-based drama group that specializes in dramatic interpretations of Joyce’s literary work, to celebrate Bloomsday with a special performance of music and drama based on excerpts from A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Ulysses and Finnnegans Wake.  The event was a tremendous success and we appreciate the support of the Here Comes Everybody Players, all the staff and volunteers.
