This Monday, instructor, Chris Tegmo, and his team begin the second of our Career Advance and computer skills course at the IIIC. For the next twelve weeks, students from a range of backgrounds will be working toward learning and mastering the Microsoft Digital Literacy Curriculum, thanks to the support of the Timothy Smith Network (TSN). The course is an excellent, intensive study program designed to train students in the computer skills necessary in most office environments. The training involves internet and email familiarity, as well as the ability to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations formatted in multiple ways, working with databases, and comprehension of Microsoft’s own standards of digital literacy. We welcome our students and wish them well during this time of learning.
If you would like information about how to enroll in the next course or to ask any questions, feel free to contact Rebecca Amoah at (617) 542-7654.
