It’s time to start planning for our Black and Green event, and we invite you to be part of the planning group for exciting annual celebration.  The event was founded to build bridges of trust, healing, and friendship between the Irish and African-American communities in Boston. Sponsored jointly by the Irish International Immigrant Center and Montserrat Aspirers, over the years this celebration has come to include immigrants of African heritage and other ethnicities. Black and Green is an afternoon of friendly cultural exchanges, socializing, music, great food, and a short program of thought provoking conversations! – an event not to be missed!

Keep the date in your diary for Sunday, May 5 from 2-5pm at the Montserrat Aspirers Hall in Dorchester. Please join us with your friends and family!  Please consider volunteering some time, skills and ideas from now until the event date in May to be part of an energetic, enthusiastic and diverse planning team. It’s an exciting opportunity! If you are interested please contact Johanne Meleance for more information at jmeleance@iiicenter.org or (617) 542-7652 ext. 13.
