Joe Boren, VC Fiona McCabe, J-1IWTs at NY ConsulateJ1 Irish Work and Travel participants were treated to an insightful presentation yesterday at the Irish Consulate in New York City.

Ironshore’s Chairman of the Environmental Product Line at Ironshore Holdings (U.S.) Inc, Joe Boren, gave an informative talk on “The Principles of Business- Sell it, Do it, Bill it, Collect it” to the Entrepreneurship Project participants. Joe shared tips on how to make it in the workplace and stated that “People aren’t lucky in business, it’s their hard work and perseverance that really pays off”.

The J1 Irish Work and Travel program aims to provide Irish graduates an opportunity to travel to the U.S. for a year, to gain invaluable work experience in the U.S. that they can use to advance their career upon their return to Ireland.
