A harmful amendment that would deprive certain immigrants of state public housing was introduced this past week to the important Housing Bond Bill, which would fund public housing. This dangerous amendment would not only leave many undocumented immigrants homeless, but also TPS holders, such as Haitian earthquake victims and Salvadoran war survivors; applicants for asylum, including  torture victims; crime victims holding U Visas, such as domestic violence survivors; and many others. A rally to oppose this amendment will be held in front of the State House at 10:00am this Monday, July 29th. Please consider attending this rally or call you state Senator!
