Thank you to everyone who walked as part of our “IIIC – Together for Hope” team on the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention “Out of the Darkness” Community walk on Saturday, October 12th. It was incredible to see such a huge turnout and we were thrilled that our team raised so much for AFSP’s continued work.
We want to say a special thank you to the Green Briar for their wonderful hospitality, Dave at The Spot Clothing for our lovely t-shirts, and an extra special thanks to Valerie Moroney and Grainne Bailey for all of their help leading up to and on the day! It is so inspiring to see so many come out in support of an issue that, for many, can feel like a “taboo” subject.
Our Suicide Prevention Campaign continues with our QPR Suicide Prevention Workshop at our center on November 12th at 6:30pm, building the skills needed to support people who may be considering suicide.
Please contact Ciara Lavery at 617-542-7654 ext. 32 for more information about this or any of our upcoming Suicide Prevention Campaign events.
