On February 16, a U.S. District Court judge in Texas issued an order that temporarily halts the DAPA and the expanded DACA programs that were included in President Obama’s Executive Action from last November. This order will be appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals, and we expect the order to be lifted, but until that happens, no one can apply for DACA or DAPA.

We encourage people to stay informed about Executive Action and continue to prepare for the application process. For more information about your eligibility for DACA or DAPA, please come to one of our upcoming information sessions.  IIIC’s immigration attorneys will be available to answer general questions about these new programs.

The next session will be on Thursday, February 19th at 6pm at the The Green Briar, 304 Washington Street, Brighton MA, 02135.  Please come with your questions.
