The IIIC is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment to our all in our diverse community. We believe that through community building, we can achieve a more tolerant, respectful, and aware society. To that end, we offer monthly intercultural events which are open to the public as well as our annual Black and Green event  held in the spring.

Storytelling and  Intercultural Sharing Events

Listening and learning from each other is a great way to gain an understanding of and appreciation for our different cultures. In partnership with community organizations, the IIIC hosts storytelling and cultural events that feature people from different backgrounds sharing life experiences, photographs, or art that contextualizes their culture. We invite our community to attend and participate in our monthly Intercultural events at our Center and at other locations around Boston. Check the Events page on our website for our upcoming monthly events!

Black & Green Celebration

Hosted in partnership with the Montserrat Aspirers, our annual Black & Green Celebration brings together residents of Greater Boston for an evening of intercultural dialogue and exchange. Since 1993, this event has celebrated the many contributions of Boston’s diverse immigrant community to the city’s culture, politics, sports, and businesses.
